i feel fantastic


Okay, so I may not be in marathon shape right now, but I'm feeling pretty awesome.  I can WAD all I want; I have both enough strength and stamina to keep the knees up and to keep it going.  I'm feeling pretty strong swimming.  I think I'm running a bit faster (though not longer at the moment); I've decided to work on running faster for shorter distances for the time being.  After a couple of spin classes and one bike to/from work, I feel awesome on the bike.  I can sit seiza longer now than I'd been able to for the whole time I've been doing Aikido--somehow my quads are in better shape than they've been before.  Yoga feels pretty good...  So, all around, I'm feeling in good shape.

Awesome! Keep up the good work. It rocks all the more that you can feel this strong in February -- who the heck feels great this time of year?

So I'm running a half marathon in May. I'm not sure that I'll ever get to "marathon shape" as you refer, though.

I thinking the process of trying to feel great in February is what is keeping me sane. :)
